  10. Welcome to The Invoice Store.  The Invoice Store is an Invoicing, POS and 
  11. Customer Tracking software product for the small business.  The following
  12. features are part of the software:

  39. II.   INSTALLATION
  40.  
  41. The Invoice Store requires any IBM PC compatible computer with a hard 
  42. disk drive.  Prior to installation, verify that the CONFIG.SYS file meets
  43. the following requirements:

  45.         FILES=99
  46.         BUFFERS=20
  47.  
  48. It is also highly recommended to have EMS or XMS memory installed.  Even
  49. though the software will operate without this memory, it will operate
  50. much slower than if EMS or XMS memory is installed.

  52. Refer to your operating system manual if any of the above is unfamiliar
  53. to the user.

  55. To run The Invoice Store, enter INV at the DOS prompt.

  58. The following environment variable commands are supported:

  60.    SET INV=COLOR          Forces the program to operate in color mode.
  61.  
  62.    SET INV=MONO           Forces the program to operate in monochrome mode.

  72. Online Help is available from inside the program.  It may be activated by
  73. pressing ALT-H from anywhere in the program.  The registered version
  74. includes a printed manual that explains every feature in detail.

  84.    * Modem                Any modem connected to a COM port.
  85.    * Cash Drawer          Cash Drawers connected to the serial or parallel port.
  86.    * Printers              Laser, Dot Matrix, or Receipt Printers.  Must be

  88.    * Bar Code Scanner     Keyboard Wedge Device only.
  89.    * Pole Display         Connected to the serial or parallel port.

  97. A brief document (MANUAL.WRI) has been included to show the basic
  98. operations of The Invoice Store software.

  100. A printed instruction book is included with the registered version of The
  101. Invoice Store software to explain every feature in detail.

  107. VI.   REGISTERATION
  108.  
  109. The Invoice Store is not a free program.  You are free to evaluate the 
  110. program.  The unregistered version has some invoicing limitations.
  111. If you decide that you wish to use The Invoice Store in your
  112. place of business, you are required to purchase a copy of the software.
  113. Once ordered, a registered version of The Invoice Store will be sent to you.
  114. You would also be entitled to a unlimited free support at no extra cost.
